How is this behaving on higher tf’s? Do not perse trade, tick or vol bars but day 4h to say daily and weekly?
What are the consequences of missing the logical 500 as a reference as you suggested?

This study measures the speed of a bar printing. A time based bar inherently has the same speed, as bars are printed every X timeframe. This study is not useful for fixed time charts.
